Summary0006438: CTRL for proportional resize only works on bottom right handle
DescriptionWhen you want to resize an object and maintain it's aspect ratio you hold CTRL and resize, but this only works when using the bottom right handle. Before I figured this out I had a friend who swore it never worked (yet it always seemed to work for me)... I later found they always use the top right handle to resize and I use the bottom right. I think this proportion locking resize is a critical feature and should function on all handles.
Steps To Reproduce1. Make a box
2. Try to resize the box using any handle other than the bottom right one with CTRL held down
The object is not resized proportionally and sometimes it resizes itself to a shape/size apparently unrelated to the one you tried to indicate, though you may undo.
Additional InformationHaving been used to inkscape where CTRL constraining works on any node I found this rather confusing... is this the intended behaviour? Sometimes you've placed an object carefully with respect to some certain edge/corner and then wish to resize the object. This can be done by setting the anchor point in the properties and then resizing in there but this seems rather tedious. if resizing in a proportion constrained way from a corner/edge locked the other corner/edge in place them this sort of place/resize workflow might be easier.

On a side note, maybe setting the lock proportions in the properties dialog should lock the proportions when you move it on the canvas? Also for imported objects it might be nice if you could restore the aspect ratio (or their original size).
