Summary | 0012186: Render Frames issues related to resizing
Description | Render Frames cannot render or present strange behaviour if height/width handles are moved as described in Steps. One solution could be not permitting Render Frames to be resized when one of the handles is moved over the opposite frame side (not a useful feature...). (Or apply Vertical/Horizontal flip as more natural to users?)
Steps To Reproduce | 0) Create a new document 1) Insert a Render Frame (default LaTeX source will be rendered, same behaviour with other Programs) 2-A) Move the right handle of the width over the opposite side of the Frame Scribus cannot render, warning message: "Running external application failed!" 2-B) Move the lower handle of the height over the opposite side of the Frame Scribus cannot render, warning message: "Running external application failed!" The following behavior is present both on 1.4.4 and 1.5.0, but on 1.5.0 the "blue area" shows how big the LaTeX (or whatever) render becomes: A) Move the upper handle over the opposite side: The blue selection height is: previous one + how much the handle has been moved down B) Move the left handle over the opposite side: The blue selection with is: previous one + how much the handle has been moved right
