Summary | 0017374: Simplify the single shot use of "Edit > Transform"
Description | The actions (excluding rotate, which is already in the PP) in "Edit > Transform" should also be accessible as buttons that are directly accessible. This might be something that goes into the context aware toolbar or added to the X,Y,Z section of the properties palette, just below the rotation. It would be nice to have something like H: [ ] V: [ ] [Sc] [Tr] [Sk] but the three actions have different units (%, mm, °) Something likes this could be better: [Sc] [Tr] [Sk] H: [ ] V: [ ] [Apply] Where the [Sc], [Tr] and [Sk] are "radio buttons" that define the unit being shown inside of H and V

We could even go for [Ro] [Sc] [Tr] [Sk] H: [ ] V: [ ] [Apply] where the rotation would be the default (showing only one input field) And we could move the "Flip" buttons on this new line. and put the "Z" buttons with locking and grouping |
|
Btw, as noted in 0017364 , these buttons could replace the ones in the Path edit window. |

I don't know if it's doable (and intuitive) to make the tool buttons act like radio buttons for choosing the tool and then clicking on it when it's selected apply the action... Probably, an "apply" button (with an icon?) is the best solution... Ah, and the rotation does not need an apply button... |
