Summary | 0017431: gimp missing
Description | Whenever I attempt 'Edit image...' I get the message "The program gimp is missing or failed to open"
Steps To Reproduce | I get the same message systematically using both Scribus 1.6.3 & 1.6.2
Additional Information | I followed Bernard 't Hooft's advive ("Scribus 1.5 Essential Guide") and installed GhostScript and added it as an External Tool in the hope that this would resolve the issue, but it didn't.

I guess that If you want to start Gimp, you need to install Gimp and not GhostScript... And then configure the path to Gimp (if Gimp is not automatically recognized as the image editor) and not GhostScript. |

That sorted it. Thank you, ale. |

This was more of a question on how to use Scribus rather than an issue of the software. In the future, consider first using the forums (https://forums.scribus.net) or some other platform for asking questions about Scribus. |
