Description | if you marquee an area with the magnifying glass, you will zoom in, but not where you marquee..often, you'll end up far away from the intended zoom-in point, even off the pasteboard | ||||
Steps To Reproduce | select magnifying glass. marquee around an object or area you wish to enlarge. let go of magnifyiing glass tool. | ||||

Confirmed ; I run into this on non Aqua / non Mac systems too. |

Would it be possible to make magnifying glass behave like it does in Gimp (drag-and-select a zoom area)? This would make correcting a document a lot faster. (using Ubuntu) |
