Summary0002876: "hide all but this layer" button/shortcut in the layers palette
DescriptionI would find it useful if I could disable all the presentation of all object layers in other layers but the active layer.
Maybe a switch 'all frames, frames on active layer, no frames' is possible?

Thanks,
Michael

OK, so you're looking for essentially "hide all but this layer" button in the layers palette?

Might that not be better done with "hide all" and "show all" options, then clicking the layer(s) you still want to be (in)visible?

I have to correct what I wrote first :-)
I mean a way, to show all objects from all layers, but only the object frames on the active layer.

When editing a document with some objects on some layers it would be easier to see, which objects are editable on the current layer.

In gimp it's possible to do this with cmd+click on the active layer

In Scribus 1.4.6, in "Layers Palette", I can click in the icon "Outline mode", for example, and all layers go in state Disable/Enable (with uncheck/check showed).
In Scribus 1.5.2 not working.

So this is a regression ?

I think that my issue is different by "hide all but this layer" question.
With Scribus 1.4.2 I clicked on Icon and worked. Now with Scribus 1.5.2, do nothing.

I made a new test in Scribus 1.4.2 (Windows version) to be right.
For example, I have five layers.
In "Layers palette" I see on the same column "Outline mode" the first three layers checked and the layers 4 and 5 unchecked.
When I click on "Outline mode" icon the check/uncheck are inverted: the first three layers are unchecked and the layers 4 and 5 are checked.
I hope it is more clear.
Thanks.
