Summary0003626: images lose information in gutter
DescriptionPictures placed across the gutter on a two page spread lose info in the pdf. It seems like there needs to be a little bleed on each page to allow the images to print without a gap. Maybe having it set up to make a pdf with crop marks, and gutter indication.
Steps To Reproducemake a magazine style two page layout, first page left. make an image frame accross the gutter, place an image in the frame. make a pdf of the document and you will see that the image appears on each page, and that there is a gap in the image as it crosses the gutter.
Additional InformationI am currently looking to replace Adobe PageMaker with Scribus for the production of our high school yearbook. This feature is the only thing stopping us from moving forward. I have had this problem on various Linux distro's as well as Windows.
