Summary0005668: Scribus crashes when accessing 'preferences'
DescriptionScribus crashes when accessing 'preferences', issuing an error saying: "Scribus crashes due to Signal 0000011".
Steps To ReproduceStart Scribus. Click 'OK' on the 'new document' wizard to accept the suggested format.
When Scribus has finished loading, click the 'File' menu item and, from the menu, choose 'Preeferences', crash!
Additional InformationScribus 1.3.4cvs installed with the help of Synaptic, from the repo maintained by Oleksandr Moskalenko.

Same happens (11 signal) both on Preferences and Document Settings in Debian Etch using Scribus repositories.

cannot reproduce (suse10.2). It's a debian issue propably. I suggest to test it with newer cvs build.

Tested today with Debian unstable - no crash anymore. Now I'm building packages for all Debian/Ubuntu branches we support. Fixed packages should be in our repositories within a couple of hours.
